Last updated: 2026. These terms govern your use of the Snowmira Holidays website and any journey you book with us. By submitting a booking enquiry, you agree to these terms.

Bookings and enquiries

Submitting the booking wizard is an enquiry, not an automatic confirmation. A journey is confirmed once we've discussed your itinerary and received the applicable deposit. Prices shown on the site are starting-from indicative prices per person and can vary with season, group size, and exact itinerary.

Deposits and payment

A refundable deposit secures your travel dates while we finalize your itinerary. The remaining balance is payable closer to your departure date, as agreed at the time of booking. Deposit amounts and balance due dates will be confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp) before you travel.

Permits and documentation

Travel to parts of Leh and Ladakh (including Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, and Khardung La) requires an Inner Line Permit for Indian nationals and a Protected Area Permit for foreign nationals in some border-adjacent zones. We arrange standard permits as part of every Leh-Ladakh package, but you are responsible for providing valid, accurate identification documents in good time.

Changes to itineraries

The Himalayas are remote and weather-dependent. Road closures, landslides, or weather can require us to alter a route or schedule at short notice for your safety. We'll always aim to offer a comparable alternative when this happens.

Traveler responsibilities

You're responsible for your own travel insurance, fitness to travel at high altitude, and any personal medical requirements. Please tell us about relevant medical conditions before departure so our guides can plan accordingly.

Limitation of liability

Snowmira Holidays acts as a tour operator coordinating local guides, transport, and accommodation. While we vet our local partners carefully, we are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, third-party service failures, or government restrictions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir having jurisdiction over any dispute.
